My experience in using Mill City Auctions was a positive one! I think it was fairly simple to figure out and navigate through the site. I sort of got stuck trying to get my account set up initially. I didn't know what my bidding number was but I was able to get it figured out quickly enough.
One thing I would suggest is making it easier/more intuitive to log in. When you go to the front page, there's really no log in screen. I had to go to CURRENT AUCTIONS first, then scroll all the way to the bottom to log in. Not a huge deal, but I think it would probably benefit you by having a place somewhere in the top right to log in and get down to business.
In terms of winning and collecting my item, it wasn't too bad. Kind of nice not having to wait for someone to ship it to me. But it did get me wondering: are all the auctions in the future going to work this way? Is this limited to just local bidders, or rather, people who can arrange to pick up their items?
All in all, a good experience. The lady I picked up my camera from was nice and friendly enough and I got a nice invoice showing what I bought and all that jazz. I'm sure I'll check out some of the future auctions!

I was able to navigate through the site easily, and when I did call Mill City Auctions with a question after winning an item, I received a call back within minutes. It felt wonderful to support two very worthy causes along with receiving fantastic items that were given as gifts that were greatly appreciated. My experience with Mill City Auctions was absolutely wonderful! The first time I won the bid for the autographed Keith Urban Jacket- it came all framed and of course I being his biggest fan was totally amazed! It's hanging in a very special spot. The next item I won the bid for was a winter scene framed print that I will be giving to my future son-in-law for his birthday and I know he'll just love it. Since I live up north, it was just fine for my son who lives in the cities to pick it up. Everyone I communicated with was so helpful and professional. I am definitely looking forward to future auctions. It is also very heart-warming to know that some monies raised go for very worthy causes. Thanks again guys! Mary from up north!

As a non-profit thrift store, we are always looking for ways to raise funds for our assistance programs. When Mill City Auctions approached us about helping with a charity auction, I at first found it too good to be true. Luckily, it wasn’t! Mill City Auctions has been a real joy to work with. They picked up our items, researched them, tested them as they were able, and set the whole auction up with very little involvement on our part. The auction appeared to go smoothly and easily, and I was pleased to see that everything sold. Afterwards, they delivered the items back to us so that auction winners could pick their items up here and we could take in payment more easily. They also dropped off invoices for each customer so that we could collect payment easily. The customers I’ve spoken with seemed pleased with their experience. One person wondered what he was going to do with all this “stuff.” I asked why he bid if that was the case. He said he just wanted to help! It was an extremely positive experience and I am looking forward to working with Mill City Auctions again soon!
