Bidding |
| |
What is proxy bidding? |
| | Proxy bidding means a bidder can enter a maximum bid amount and the auction will automatically bid in their absence, executing their bid for them and trying to keep the bid price as low as possible. This is nice because it means a bidder doesn't have to be at the auction every minute to make sure they are not outbid. When you are the highest bidder and you have been out-bid by another user, you will receive an email notification so that you have a chance to re-enter a new bid amount. |
| |
How do I find the results of an auction? |
| | If you are the winning bidder on an item, you will receive an email notification of your success the following business day. |
| |
Can I retract my bid? |
| | No. A bid is a binding contract. |
| |
Are there any fees for bidding? |
| | No. Bidding is free. An administrative fee will apply to all winning bids. |
